Upon lysis of the sample with TRIzol or similar, RNA and DNA is bound directly to the Zymo-Spin™ Column. Then simply spin, wash, and elute high-quality RNA and DNA into separate fractions. No phase separation, precipitation, or post purification steps are necessary. The eluted nucleic acids are suitable for all subsequent molecular manipulations and analyses including Next-Gen sequencing, RT/qPCR, hybridization, etc.

This kit provides a fast, reliable and simple procedure for isolating DNA from up to 1.75 mL of urine. This simple workflow allows for specific cutoffs thatcan be modified to suit reaction clean-up, left-sided, right-sided or even double-sided size selection. The Select-a-Size MagBead Buffer selectively binds fragments based on the volume added relative to the sample. Simply choose a desired cutoff to bind the target of interest onto the beads and remove species outside of this range. The desired DNA is easily eluted from the beads following a rapid wash regimen.

This kit uses a novel method to reduce the amount of contaminating host DNA by selectively lysing the eukaryotic cells and degrading this DNA prior to total DNA purification. Paired with Zymo Researchs non-biased purification technology, the HostZERO™ Microbial DNA Kit allows for the exclusive capture of DNA from living microbial cells in a biological sample.This new technology is able to reduce the presence of human DNA in a saliva sample from 65% (untreated sample) to less than 1% (treated sample, Figure 1). Concurrently, the depletion process utilizes the ZymoBIOMICS™ non-biased DNA isolation technology for accurate data representation (Figure 2). Finally, the HostZERO™ Microbial DNA Kit recovers the highest amount of bacterial DNA as compared to other methods (Figure 3). By removing the presence of host DNA and reducing bias in purification, the HostZERO™ Microbial DNA Kit produces the highest-quality data for microbial samples.

The WarmStart LAMP Kit (DNA & RNA) is designed to provide a simple, one-step solution for Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification (LAMP) of DNA or RNA (RT-LAMP) targets. LAMP and RT-LAMP are commonly used isothermal amplification techniques that provides rapid detection of a target nucleic acid using LAMP-specific primers (supplied by the user) and a strand-displacing DNA polymerase. This kit is supplied with the WarmStart LAMP 2X Master Mix, which contains a blend of Bst 2.0 WarmStart DNA Polymerase and WarmStart RTx Reverse Transcriptase in an optimized LAMP buffer solution.
